TEDxStanford 2016: The Human Race

Sunday, April 24, 2016 11:00AM
CEMEX Auditorium

TEDxStanford 2016: The Human Race celebrates our fifth anniversary with some of Stanford's most accomplished pioneers in the arts, technology, medicine, and social sciences for an incomparable day of short talks and world-class performances.

From the science of ice cream (with taste tests as evidence), the newest smart football helmets, and plants that make medicine, to a former writer for The Daily Show on why comedy is our news source, the truth about workplace bias in the 21st century, hip-hop, jazz, and a few surprises, we'll fill the day with unexpected treats and revelatory discoveries from Stanford's best.

This event goes on sale Wednesday, March 30, at 12 p.m. for Stanford Faculty/Staff; 2 p.m. for General Public; 4 p.m. for Stanford Students.

Tickets to the main theater are sold out. Please join us in our overflow room to watch the live webcast, then participate in lunch and all the breaks for group activities by CLICKING HERE. Overflow rooms are located next to CEMEX Auditorium and provide a place for guests to view a live cast of the event as well as giving access to on-site meals.
