Memorial Auditorium

Friday, March 10, 2017 1:30PM

Presented by the Office of the President, Stanford Law School, and Senior Class Presidents of 2017.

This is a private event exclusively for current Stanford University faculty, staff, postdocs and full-time Stanford students with current SU photo ID card.

LOTTERY INSTRUCTIONS:

Stanford University faculty, staff, postdocs, and full-time Stanford students with current SU photo ID card may register for a complimentary ticket--online only--from Friday, February 24, 10:00 AM through Monday, February 27 at 12:00 PM.

An email will be sent to you during the lottery registration period confirming receipt of your request.

Please do not register if you are unable to pick up your own ticket on Monday, March 6 or Tuesday, March 7 from 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM at Stanford Ticket Office.

You must pick up your own ticket (current SU photo ID card is required) during this time frame if you are selected. NO EXCEPTIONS.

SUBMITTING A QUESTION TO THE JUSTICE (optional)

The event is designed to encourage active dialogue between the Justice and the audience. Once your lottery entry has been received, you will receive information on how to submit a potential question for the Justice to answer during the program in the confirmation e-mail. Consideration of your question will be contingent on your selection as an attendee. Your question will not influence the selection of lottery winners. Please keep in mind that due to the volume of entries and a set end time for the event, the Justice will be unable to address all questions.

TICKET PICK-UP:

On Tuesday, February 28, 2017 by 5:00 PM, you will be informed by email if you have been randomly selected to receive a ticket.

If you are selected, you will receive instructions regarding ticket pick-up times at the Stanford Ticket Office, located in Tresidder Memorial Union, 2nd Floor.

Stanford students selected for a lottery ticket will also receive instructions on how to submit a question to ask the Justice.

If you were selected for a complimentary ticket, you must pick up your own ticket in person with full name matching current SU photo ID Card and the email you received confirming that you were selected.

You cannot send someone else to pick up your ticket.

No other forms of IDs will be accepted.

If you were not selected for a complimentary ticket, an email will be sent to you outlining the ticket standby process.

If you cannot attend this event after claiming your ticket, please do not give your ticket away.

Instead, please bring it back to Stanford Ticket Office Monday- Friday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM or bring it to the Stanford Ticket Office table outside Memorial Auditorium on Friday, March 10 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM.
