Key Challenges in Pharmaceutical Regulation

This Stanford Health Policy Forum event will focus on how the federal government should handle some of the key challenges in regulating the pharmaceutical industry. Speakers Professor Kennedy and Dr. Martin will discuss such topics as: How health reform should change the FDA’s role; How to plan for possible pandemics, like a swine flu outbreak; and How to get life-saving medicines to people who can’t afford them. This program, moderated by Daniel Kessler, will conclude with a dialogue with the audience.
